A professionally supervised after school program of the Community Learning Center at St. James, provides Kindergarten through 5th grade students with a safe, loving, nurturing, and productive harbor within our community for fostering academic, social, and personal development. More information

A large number of preschool-aged children in the Richmond are not enrolled in any preschool. Our free, bilingual Saturday program helps children make a smooth transition across cultures into kindergarten and beyond. Saturday Learning Time (SLT) runs Saturday mornings 10 months of the year, serving a maximum 26 students at a time. More Information

The CLC has joined with the Beacon Center at Roosevelt Middle School in providing this greatly needed a tutoring program. Youth Empowering Youth pairs volunteer high school tutors with middle school students who need some extra help twice a week for two hours. More information

The CLC in partnership with eminent health care professionals designed to help seniors in the Richmond District and beyond receive the services they need to thrive—from help at home to social gatherings, intergenerational activities, health and fitness programs, intellectual stimulation, warmth, friendship and a sense of respected belonging.
