St. James has been providing facilities to individuals and groups serving the surrounding community since its inception over 100 years ago. Today, over 1600 community members per month take advantage of free and low-cost programming including classes for young children, classes for parents, yoga classes, Buddhist meditation, numerous seminars, recitals and concerts, 12-step programs, neighborhood clubs, community organizing meetings, and election polling stations.

Dee Dee Lawson Presents: Kindermusik

Kindermusik classes develop a beginning foundation in music for young children.   Rhythm, singing, dancing, playing instruments in a group with parents/caregivers, and learning how to take turns and play a part of a musical piece.   Advanced Kindermusik drop off classes for kids 4 to 5.5 years old are also offered.  For price and time information please call Dee Dee Lawton at (415) 561-9754

Suzuki Violin Lessons

Classes are held in the side chapel for children ages 4 to 8 and include the student, their parent or care provider (who will help the child with practice during the week) and the instructor. For cost information and details please call Ed Wilcox at (415) 412-6723.

ElderWISE Senior Workout Class

Monday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 am, in the Parish Hall.  Drop-ins welcome.   Cost:   Free.  

California Collectors Club

Second and Fourth Friday of each month, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, in the Parish Hall.

Buddhist Meditation

Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m., Caldwell Room.
