Yueh-Yin Liao - Dec. 2 7:00 pm
On December 2, at 7:00pm pianist Yueh Yin Liao will present a piano concert at St. James Church. Yueh YIn is from Taipei, and has recently presented concerts in Italy and Germany. She is donating her talents to help raise money for the Community Learning Center. Her program will include the last half of the Bach “Goldberg Variations” as well as music of the 20th and 21st century. One work which she will play involves her playing the keys with one hand while she reaches inside the piano to make a harp-like accompaniment! If you have children studying piano, you should bring them - Yueh Yin will show them about piano preparation after the concert. Suggested donation is $10 for adults. Children should be free. See you there!
“Music of the Heart” - Feb. 10 at 4:30 pm
a Valentine Concert with soprano Maureen Newlin, baritone Fred Goff, pianist Tomoko Goto and violinist Ed Wilcox and the SMFA Wire Choir. Tomoko and Ed will play the emotional “C Minor Sonata for Piano and Violin” by Beethoven.
Aki Amai - March 9 at 7:00 pm
Aki Amai
will present a piano concert (she is our organist!).
Admission is $10 for adults and free for children and seniors. Parking is available at the Peabody parking lot on 7th Ave.
