at St. James Presents
At 7pm on Monday, October 27th the Third Annual Scary Event Halloween Concert will be held in the Nave of St. James Church as a benefit for the Community Learning Center at St. James. Concert musicians will perform in costume, and the audience is encouraged to do likewise! The program will include the Wire Choir performing Danse Macabre and Moonlight over Haunted Castle of the Slain Samurai (last spring the wire choir gave a one hour concert at the Crocker Galleria for an international art opening). Also, The Shostakovitch Trio for Piano and Strings will be played by pianist, Tomoko Goto, Violinist, Heidi Wilcox, and cellist, Farley Pearce. Two versions of Pagannini's Witches Dance will also be performed by Tomoko Goto, The Wire Choir and Ed Wilcox. Finally Heidi Wilcox and Tomoko Goto will perform the Devil's Trill Sonata of Tartini. Come and enjoy the spooky fun. The concert will be about an hour long.
